Some projects come with months of planning. This one came with two weeks.

The brief was clear — a busy executive needed a comfortable, peaceful city apartment to come home to between long stretches of work travel. She wasn't looking for show stopping; she was looking for sanctuary. Somewhere soft, calm, and entirely hers the moment she walked through the door.

The challenge was the timeline. Furniture sourcing — even from quick-ship vendors — takes time we simply didn't have. So I did what I love most: I got creative. I combed outlet stores across the area, piecing together a cohesive, considered retreat from what was available right now. Every piece had to earn its place — the right scale, the right texture, the right feeling.

The result is a space that feels nothing like it was assembled under pressure. It feels like it was always meant to be exactly this.
